Snorly Support: Setup, Recording Problems, Subscriptions
Most problems with a snore recorder come down to three things: where the phone sits, whether it stayed awake, and whether the room was noisier than the snoring. Check those first; if it still does not work, email hello@builtfor.app with your iPhone model and iOS version and we answer within two working days.
Where should the phone be?
On a nightstand or a shelf at mattress height, half a metre to a metre from your head, plugged in, with nothing covering the microphone. Do not put it under the pillow or face-down on a soft surface. Point fans and air purifiers away from it. If you share the bed, put it on your side.
Why did last night have no clips?
In order of likelihood: the app was closed or the phone locked before recording started; the phone was too far away or muffled; the room noise (fan, white noise machine, traffic) was louder than the snoring; you did not snore. Try one night with the phone closer and the fan off. If the timeline shows sound but no snoring labels, the detector heard noise it did not classify as snoring.
Does it work with the screen off?
Recording continues with the screen dimmed to the bedside clock. Keep the phone plugged in and leave the app in the foreground; iOS can suspend background audio apps under memory pressure, and a plugged-in phone in the foreground is the reliable setup.
Battery and storage
A night of recording on a charger has no lasting effect on the battery. Storage per night is small because only clips are kept; Premium full-night audio uses more and can be deleted per night in History.
Restore a purchase or cancel Premium
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases after reinstalling or switching phones. To cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Snorly. Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Delete my recordings
Swipe a night in History to delete it, or delete the app to remove everything. Recordings exist only on your phone; there is no server copy to request.
